In the village and surrounding areas, you will find many activities that you can do all year round. We present here a selection of the main indoor and outdoor activities to discover by yourself or to book through us.
Palladium
The Palladium is a sports centre, with several multi-purpose rooms where there is a multitude of infrastructure.

Pony Ride
The equestrian centre, at the bottom of the village, has been in existence for more than 25 years!
With its six Franches-Montagnes, extremely docile horses, riding is child’s play. You can ask for individual walks or group walks.
Children love ponies; for their greatest happiness, there are five of them, available for 1 hour or more in the form of initiation by walking the streets of the village or enjoying a hike in the middle of nature. Various walks of various lengths are presented, as well as escapades over several days in the mountains with barbecue and/or overnight stay on a farm. Reservation at +41 79 429 60 20
Life on the farm
Go out and exercise in our mountain pastures! Take the time to discover life on the farm. To do this, put on overalls and put on your boots! When the cows are being recalled, help our mountain farmers to bring them back to the farm, because it is milking time. Learn to milk; laughter guaranteed! In addition, perhaps you will have the chance to see the birth of a small calf? Maybe you can feed the newborns!
Then enjoy a fabulous snack with local products straight from the production of this same farm.
This activity is accessible all year round on request as well as every Wednesday and Friday during the winter and summer seasons as part of the weekly activities in Champéry.
Trout fishing
Fishing, then, at your choice, enjoy!
At Chalet Rosalie, on the banks of the river that flows at the bottom of the valley, called the Vièze, you can fish for trout almost all year round for CHF 23/kg. Then, if you wish, you can eat the caught fish, by sitting at a table in the restaurant.

Private fishing
You can fish all year round, depending on the opening dates of the fishing season.
To do so, you must hold a private fishing licence or obtain a daily fishing licence. These can be purchased from the Tourist Office.
Visit of the Village
A member of the Association du Patrimoine Champérolain will gladly accompany you to discover the hidden history of the village of Champéry. Let yourself be told the story of the Hôtel de la Dent-du-Midi, inaugurated in 1857; discover the old photos of this pioneering establishment of tourist activity or listen to the legend of the bell tower of Champéry, etc….
Visits can be made on request to the Tourist Office.
Bell Foundry
The bells that you can see in many places in the village are typical of here and in their majority produced by hand in a small foundry in Champéry. As one of the last bell founders in Switzerland, Mr. Jean-Denis Perrin and his son, Hugues, own in their workshop, about twenty specific moulds, which have been used by more than nine generations. Secretly kept, the mixture of metal cast here has produced the majority of the bells of the cows of the Val d’Illiez.
